As a non-profit, 501 (c)(3) organization, the Volunteers of Vacaville rely heavily on donations to assist us in our ability to help the visually impaired community.
We are able to offer our services at rates significantly below the market standard, making our services available to many who could not afford any other option.
Your donation can assist us in our efforts to serve this population through:
- Braille Transcription.
- Audio recording of books.
- Repair of Braille Writers.
- Cleaning and maintenance of Tape Players for the California Talking Book Library.
- Eye-Glass gauging for donated glasses which are given to disadvantaged people throughout the world.
As well as being a deductible donation to a non-profit organization, all donations are recognized by awards.
- $1 to $99 - Certificate of Appreciation
- $100 to $199 - Board of Directors Certificate
- $200 to $299 - Warden's Certificate
- $300 or Above - Jim Todd Plaque
